workshop, taking place in Istanbul, Turkey
on the 25th and
26th September 2008.

The
overall goal of the workshop is to
strengthen the capacity of young advocates in Europe to advocate effectively for RH Supplies in their
home NGO as well as on the international arena by providing information on RH
Supplies, current financial and funding situation and key policy
makers.
The
objectives of the workshop:
- Enhance
YDM/youth advocates’ knowledge and understanding of RH supplies in the SRHR
framework .
- To
share knowledge and experiences of participants.
- To
discuss SRHR and RH supply issues and challenges in local and global
context.
- To
discuss and develop a joint advocacy message and plans of action to advocate
for RH supplies and the importance of increased financial support as
an essential step toward achieving the Millennium Development Goals
(MDGs).
- To
facilitate youth advocates/YDM to incorporate the advocacy message and plans
of action developed in the workshop into the advocacy strategies of their home
Non- Governmental Organisations (NGOs).
