State coordinator very supportive and was in attendance during the seminar and also came to the class during training sessions to monitor the training sessions. She gave motherly advice to corps members at such sessions. 2. The N Y S C HQ Monitor She was in attendance and monitor the sensitization seminar, she was also in attendance and monitor the class session. She also had time to advice corps members during class session. 3. Schedule Officer He was actively involved from our arrival at the camp, the pre sensitization processes, the arrangement for sensitization and also during the training, he was daily present at the class during sessions, he had time to advice and personally interacts with the volunteer corps members. 4. FACOR COMPONENT: We had a cordial relationship, joint involvements, e.g. live interview at the OBS, one on -one sensitization, joint posting of posters; joint session in class and exchange of class. We had joint visit to the officials, joint graduation and joint debriefing of the state coordinator. TRAINING: Training commenced on Tuesday by 10Am after breakfast with about 112 corps members in attendance. This was after the initial screening immediately after the 7 o clock sensitization seminar. We had a joint class session; thereafter we split into different components and continued the training which lasted to about 2: Pm. Wednesday; we resumed by 7: am and introduced the modules, the content of the module had to continue unto Thursday afternoon. We were able to treat the modules effectively because of the early hours of resumption every day. Our schedule officer had to personally ensure that corps members were withdrawn from the parade ground every morning by 6.30 am to enable them attend the class by 7am. This continued for all the days from Wednesday to Saturday. This made it possible for us to fully treat and complete the content of the camp agenda. He also ensured that corps volunteers were given their meals separately from other corps members in the camp. By Saturday about 11:30 am, we were able to fully train the corps members on all that are in the content of the camp agenda. Preparation for graduation was in top gear after that and graduation ceremony commenced by 4 pm, with the state coordinator, camp director, a director from the HQ, and other senior camp officials in attendance. Finally debriefing with the state coordinator was done at 7Pm, then after arrangement for departure for the next day was made. Challenges: No conducive training venue. extra copies of DTA training manual were photocopied for distribution three extra T shirt and caps were from the two facilitators and the schedule officer were given to corps members to make the number 53.
